KENT, United Kingdom — Event Risk Security Services has revealed the finalists for the 2025 Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPA). Now in its tenth year, the US-based program honors the credible and outstanding contributions that companies, initiatives, teams and individuals make to the American security sector and the broader community.
The awards rest on a foundation of strong ethical standards and have backing from several leading industry bodies and special interest groups. Each organization nominates a judge to represent its interests. This year’s voting process involved a panel of 16 security experts tasked with selecting the finalists.
Nominations spanned sectors such as healthcare, education, retail and transportation, with entries from both public agencies and private firms. Judges assessed each submission on criteria such as operational performance, innovation and community outreach, ensuring a thorough evaluation process.
This year’s shortlist spans more than a dozen award categories, reflecting the varied scope of security services and solutions across the U.S.
“The OSPAs provide an important opportunity to recognize and celebrate the work of those dedicated individuals, companies and teams who deliver outstanding security products and services,” says awards founder Martin Gill. “Year on year the number of entries grows and the judges have had an arduous task in scoring nominations and selecting the finalists. All those that have been chosen represent the very best in the industry and should be very proud.”
Following last year’s success, winners in selected categories of the 2025 US OSPAs will automatically qualify for the 2025 Global OSPAs, to be held virtually in January 2026. The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award will be inducted into the new Security Hall of Fame.
