PLEASANTON, Calif. – Deep Sentinel, the proactive AI-driven security solution provider, secured an oversubscribed $15 million Series B financing led by Egis Capital Partners, joined by existing investors Intel Capital, Shasta Ventures, UP2398 and Slow Launch Fund. Since its launch, the company’s sales bookings have doubled annually, outpacing the legacy security sector’s typical 20 to 30 percent expansion, according to its announcement.

The fresh capital will back several key initiatives: swift market rollout, fine-tuning of Deep Sentinel’s proprietary AI algorithms, plus the growth of its Bring Your Own Camera (BYOC) integration program, which now contributes nearly half of overall sales. The firm plans to extend its coverage across commercial properties and homes nationwide.

David Selinger, founder and CEO, said this investment ushers in a fresh phase of redefining proactive security. He emphasized that Deep Sentinel’s focus extends beyond adding more cameras or software features, stressing that its real-time intervention capability sets a new safety benchmark in the industry.

Selinger highlighted the importance of the BYOC initiative. With plug-and-play compatibility for brands including Digital Watchdog, Axis, Uniview, Hikvision and Luma/SnapOne, businesses benefit from enhanced performance of their existing camera networks instead of replacing systems, offering a lower-cost alternative for customers and service partners.

Deep Sentinel’s platform pairs advanced analytics with live human guards. Camera feeds stream into the proprietary software, where AI detects suspicious behavior and instantly alerts trained personnel. Guards can then intervene on site within seconds to deter potential threats. Companies integrate the platform with current hardware, avoiding expensive equipment upgrades and high upfront costs.

Egis Capital Partners brings more than funding to Deep Sentinel, according to the company. The investing firm draws on a strong track record in physical security and technology to provide strategic guidance and operational expertise that will support the company’s next stage of growth.

Robert Chefitz, founder and managing partner at Egis Capital Partners, said the firm is excited to lead the Series B round and back a pioneer in AI-enabled proactive security solutions. He noted that Deep Sentinel marks Egis’s fifth investment in remote video monitoring across its three funds since 2008, reflecting the firm’s long commitment to the security and safety sector.

Chefitz added that Egis’s deep industry experience positions it to help Deep Sentinel scale efficiently, refine product-market fit and address complex deployment challenges. He said the partnership will extend the platform’s reach to neighborhoods, retail sites and corporate campuses, adding a layer of protection for families and businesses across the nation.

Since its inception in 2008, Egis Capital Partners has supported numerous innovations in safety and monitoring technology. Chefitz said Deep Sentinel’s real-time approach and human-in-the-loop model represent the cutting edge of security services, and that he expects strong demand from businesses and communities seeking proactive measures to safeguard assets and people.
