At the annual security market trade event, the company highlighted its partnerships across the sector. ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions emphasized its collaborations with system integrators, architects, and facility managers.

NEW HAVEN, Conn.—ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions returned to the Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2025 in New Orleans, presenting a range of door security and digital access control systems designed to meet the needs of modern facilities. Attendees could view real-world deployments and talk through project requirements with product experts.

“We look forward to GSX every year because it gives us the chance to connect directly with the professionals who rely on our solutions every day,” says Angelo Faenza, head of digital access solutions at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas. “This year, we’re showcasing a comprehensive lineup designed to help end users enhance safety, improve efficiency, and create more secure environments.”

Throughout the show, the In-Booth Learning Lab offered short, focused talks lasting 10 to 15 minutes, running each hour. Those sessions, led by industry veterans, covered best practices for installing access control systems, integrating new technologies, and troubleshooting common challenges.

At booth 1255, visitors encountered emerging technologies from Control iD, DoorBird, and Luxer One. Control iD demonstrated its latest facial recognition platform, DoorBird highlighted upcoming intercom designs, and Luxer One previewed its automated locker modules for secure package handling.

Highlighted solutions in the ASSA ABLOY exhibit:

  • Corbin Russwin ML2000 Series MELR Mortise Locks: Built for demanding commercial and industrial settings, these locks offer rapid and quiet latch retraction with minimal power draw. They blend seamlessly with existing access control systems, meet ADA requirements, and carry ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certification. Rated for indoor or outdoor use, they satisfy UL fire and UL294 security standards.
  • Bruken DL-GS3550 Digital Glass Door Lock: Part of ASSA ABLOY Glass Solutions, this field-reversible lock supports three entry methods—fingerprint scan, numeric passcode, and smart card—without the need for glass cutting. It fits single or paired doors with glass thicknesses from 3/8 to ½ inch.
  • Control iD iDFace Max: This facial-recognition terminal can store up to 100,000 profiles (1:N) with liveness detection and mask-wearing identification. It integrates a SIP intercom, TCP/IP, USB, PoE connectivity, and a 7-inch touchscreen display.
  • DoorBird D31TDV IP Video Intercom: Designed for multi-tenant dwellings up to 1,000 units, it offers surface and flush mounting, a 7-inch touch display, RFID, Bluetooth, and QR code reader. The unit uses a Sony Starvis sensor in Full HD and a 4D motion detector.
  • Centrios Padlock: A keyless, Bluetooth-enabled lock managed via the Centrios app. It features a reinforced chromed steel shackle, IP67-rated weather protection, and recharge via USB-C. It joins the Centrios ecosystem to control multiple entry points.
  • Norton Rixson 4500 Low Energy Operator: A compact opener for retrofit and low-ceiling installations, it installs on aluminum-framed glass doors with a wrapped cover for a streamlined look. Its NROS system enables wireless configuration through smart devices and comes with a 24-volt wall power adapter and optional pre-paired kits. Included push and pull arms allow flexible mounting options.
  • Securitech PARAMAXX: A multi-point deadbolt solution offering remote activation for facilities with high security demands. Its surface-mount housing is 60 inches of stainless steel with preinstalled locks. Users can engage it via push-button, transmitter, or scheduled lockdown. Models work with inswing or outswing doors and standard mortise cylinders. The system includes advanced penetration resistance, vandal-resistant features, and stainless steel deadbolts.

By bringing together advanced hardware and digital access tools, ASSA ABLOY aims to support facility operators in making informed choices and raising overall security levels across multiple sectors.
