ATLANTA — Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, a full-service fire protection and life safety company, has acquired FSD Protection, which provides fire alarm, fire sprinkler, suppression and extinguisher services from Houston.
The deal expands Pye-Barker’s reach in key Texas markets, strengthening its fire code compliance offerings for its clients and the communities it serves.
The purchase fits Pye-Barker’s plan to bolster local coverage in fast-growing regions.
FSD Protection covers commercial accounts across Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin and surrounding areas, focusing on facilities in healthcare, multifamily and education sectors.
The company delivers inspection, testing and maintenance for fire sprinkler systems, alarm and detection devices, kitchen hood suppression systems and other life safety equipment, helping businesses meet NFPA standards and maintain the highest level of fire safety protection, according to the announcement.
That announcement further noted that FSD Protection “has built its reputation on reliable service and technical expertise across diverse industries.”
