MISSISSAUGA, Canada—Camden Door Controls recently rolled out two Emergency Call System kits for universal washrooms, accommodating doorways with or without low-energy operators. Both kits comply with the current Ontario Building Code and the City of Toronto’s regulations.
The CX-WEC12-TS and CX-WEC13-TS packages feature a 33½-inch vertical “press for emergency assistance” ribbon switch. Activating that switch triggers an LED corridor signal outside and lights the interior “assistance requested” LED.
Dealers can adjust the speaker volume and mount these systems in a ½-inch-deep single-gang electrical box.
The CX-WEC12-TS offers a red single-gang “press to reset” button. The CX-WEC13-TS uses a stainless-steel single-gang key switch for resets. Both reset methods restore normal operation promptly.
Each solution also includes the CM-AF141SO LED Dome Light with sounder and the CM-501SO “assistance requested” LED announcer, compatible with 12/24 VAC/VDC. Both kits ship with the CX-LRS24 24-volt Latching Relay Assembly and a white Emergency Assistance panel available in English, French or bilingual layouts.
