NEW ORLEANS — More than 15,000 security professionals representing manufacturers, integrators, consultants and other specialties are set to arrive in the Crescent City for GSX 2025. Organized by ASIS International, the event marks a return to New Orleans for the first time in twenty years.
Participants will have three days to explore the exhibition floor at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, with five days dedicated to education sessions. Countless networking gatherings before and after show hours will offer additional chances to connect.
Christine Peck, chief global learning officer for ASIS International, highlights the event’s value: “Not only is it the place where people come to find information, solutions, connect with their colleagues, talk about the situations that they’re trying to handle and have the opportunity to attend more than 200 educational sessions, but it’s never the same show every year.”
A new feature for 2025 brings live translation of select sessions into more than eighty languages, accommodating attendees from over eighty countries. Since 2017 the GSX digital option has remained popular across the security industry. “If you can’t be with us in person, we want to make you feel you’re getting what you need from the education and resources that we’re providing,” Peck says. “Our research helps us to figure out what are the problems and challenges our members are looking to solve year on year.”
The education program draws from more than five hundred fifty submissions, with offerings on topics any security professional will find relevant. One core theme is Physical and Operational Security.
Special evening gatherings and networking events include:
- ASIS Celebrates at the National World War II Museum on September 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (ticket required)
- Women in Security and Next Gen happy hour at the convention center on September 29 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (registration required)
Attendees may choose between these pass options:
- An all-access pass, which covers every education session, all pre- and post-show events and full exhibition access
- A show floor-only pass, which has become enormously popular
Security Sales & Integration has created a central hub for GSX 2025 news and insights. Digital editor Craig MacCormack will file updates before, during and after the conference.
If those features were not reason enough to attend GSX, the event’s setting in one of the world’s premier entertainment destinations adds extra appeal. Attendees can traverse show floor aisles for three days, sit in on five days of learning sessions and drop in on networking gatherings outside official hours, all within the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Up to sixteen thousand participants will need to plan carefully to experience every segment.
The digital component extends the conference’s reach through online exhibit halls and live-streamed education sessions, keeping global members connected even when they cannot travel to New Orleans.
